WASHINGTON, D.C. —The fallout for the US State Department continues to build as
media outlets worldwide comb through the vast trove of approximately 250,000 American
diplomatic cables that were released by the website Wikileaks in late November. In a
shocking revelation uncovered by this newspaper, a September 14, 2010 cable from
Secretary of State Hillary Clinton to the US embassy in Australia declared that the new
prime minister of Australia was '....absolutely, undeniably a straight up skank-ass hoe.'
